Having branched out from leafy SW I attended the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen Australian BBQ which I am not afraid to say was way out of my trendy league. However despite awkward stances trying to disguise the Mulberry as a charity find knock off I experienced one of the most mind numbingly amazing bands I have heard/seen or even been vaguely interested in since I discovered The Sonics at the tender age of 8. People I introduce you to the Delta Riggs a rock and roll Australian band whose pure unadulterated raw enthusiasm and talent leaves you feeling awash with the inner wild child heart fluttering freedom that only stories from the 70's could understand. Standing with the other 200 people sardined into the world's smallest room one couldn't help loose themselves in the moment of ecstasy, which safe to say left me dancing on stage with the band whilst numerous others crowd surfed their way into 6pm on a Sunday evening, enjoy!
Their next concerts are due on the 11th June at the Nottinghill Arts Club, Nottinghill.
